We have advised D&O underwriters and insurance agencies (both in Australia and overseas) on liability and drafting of policy documents, and we have defended insured directors and officers against claims covered by D&O policies.

The Financial Lines/D&O team works closely with our Commercial team. The skills required to represent insurers in financial lines disputes are complimentary, requiring an understanding of corporations law, directors duties, accounts and general commercial knowledge.  The team's focus is to avoid litigation and pursue remedies through ADR given the complexity and sensitivity of many Financial Lines and D&O claims.
