Motor Vehicle Insurance

Vanessa specialises in the area of motor vehicle insurance for major insurance companies.  

Vanessa began her career at a large suburban firm working on a high volume of plaintiff oriented public risk insurance claims. She joined Curwoods Lawyers as a solicitor in 2008 and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2010. 

For the past 5 years, Vanessa has exclusively practised in the area of motor vehicle insurance. 

Vanessa has a keen eye for assessing quantum and investigating interesting liability issues, as well as defending late claims.  She brings a practical analysis of issues and always considers the opportunity cost for both sides of any argument.  Vanessa is committed to early resolution initiatives where appropriate, as well as carefully creating defence strategies.

Vanessa is frequently involved in assisting clients with motor vehicle insurance based training initiatives and has particular ability in imparting skills about evidence management.  She has a particular interest in fraud related claims.
