Shannon specialises in the area of defendant insurance litigation.

Shannon currently advises corporate insureds as well as local and overseas insurers with respect to public risk insurance, damage from defective products, professional indemnity and property damage.  She also advises on policy interpretation issues.

Shannon has conducted litigated matters in all New South Wales and Queensland jurisdictions and has managed litigated claims in the Supreme Court of ACT for insurer and corporate clients. 

She is vastly experienced in alternative dispute resolution techniques and regularly contributes to the Curwoods Case Notes series and other insurance industry publications.
