John is a Law Society of New South Wales Accredited Specialist In Business Law with over 30 years' experience advising a diverse client base.

John leads the firm's Commercial Group which has four teams, Commercial, Property, Dispute Resolution and Private Client.  

His clients appreciate John's practical grasp of commercial practices and realities, and his wide knowledge and experience of business and law.  He is a director of client companies and is often invited to participate in client board and strategic management and planning meetings. John focuses on developing close working relationships with all of his clients.  He is also actively involved in chairing and delivering seminars to the legal profession and industry and professional groups.

John is an avid supporter of community and pro‑bono activities.  He is a member of The Rotary Club of Sydney and its New Generations Committee which sees him involved in various youth related projects.  He is a director of and responsible officer for The Mantana Foundation for Young People, an active philanthropic foundation associated with one of his major clients.  John is also actively involved in the arts community and was instrumental in setting up the firm's Artist‑in‑Residence program.

John is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales, The Commercial Law Association of Australia, the Property Council of Australia, The British Chamber of Commerce and the Italian Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
